The idea
BTC spends long periods trending. Manta tries to be on the right side of those large moves. It decides on the daily chart and trades rarely, and it sizes itself by how volatile the market is.
- 1.Takes a position as a trend establishes
- 2.Exits or turns around when the trend ends

Backtested and hypothetical, not achieved with real capital. Past results do not promise future ones.
The numbers cover the full history, because a short window says little about a strategy this slow. The sample has few trades, so a single trade moves them more than for day trading.
When it does well and badly
Good fit
- Long, clear trends up or down
- Investors who check in rarely
Poor fit
- Choppy sideways markets, which cost small losses
- Anyone who wants frequent action
In your dashboard
Most days nothing happens, and that is the strategy working as designed. It runs at any balance over the $100 minimum, on its own account.
Other strategies
- Day Trading Marlin, Barracuda and Hagfish on one wallet. Three different sources of trades, sharing one balance and one leverage limit.
- Marlin Buys a sharp dip in a rising, liquid coin and sells the bounce. It wins often and takes small profits.
- Barracuda Trades toward the places where crowded traders get liquidated, on the month's most-traded coins. Fewer wins than Marlin, larger ones.
- Hagfish Shorts an established alt at the exhausted top of its run, and only while the alt market as a whole is not in a bull.
- Spot accumulation Buys the assets you choose in steps through a market bottom and holds them. No leverage and no shorts.
