How the three work together
Each strategy looks for its own kind of move, so they are often active at different times: one buys dips in rising coins, one trades around crowded positions, and one shorts tired alts when the alt market is weak.
Marlin
Buys dips in rising, liquid coins
Barracuda
Trades toward the crowd's liquidations
Hagfish
Shorts exhausted alts outside a bull market
Each sizes on 0.65 of the balance, with total leverage capped at 3.0×

What it feels like
- Many trades. Expect activity most days, often on several coins at once.
- Leverage. Positions are larger than your balance, so swings are larger as well.
- Real falls. Months-long flat or falling stretches happen. Check the max drawdown above and ask if you could sit through it.
Good fit
- You accept deep swings for higher growth
- You leave it running through the bad weeks
- Your account fits the plan's size band
Poor fit
- You would stop it after the first big fall
- You need this money in the near term
- You want one simple position to follow
Other strategies
- Marlin Buys a sharp dip in a rising, liquid coin and sells the bounce. It wins often and takes small profits.
- Barracuda Trades toward the places where crowded traders get liquidated, on the month's most-traded coins. Fewer wins than Marlin, larger ones.
- Hagfish Shorts an established alt at the exhausted top of its run, and only while the alt market as a whole is not in a bull.
- Manta Follows the large BTC trend on the daily chart, long and short, with little activity and moderate leverage.
- Spot accumulation Buys the assets you choose in steps through a market bottom and holds them. No leverage and no shorts.
