Fund your Hyperliquid account
Open a Hyperliquid account and send it USDC on the Arbitrum network. This is the only part where money moves, so go through it carefully.
Why Hyperliquid
Hyperliquid is where Tarvis trades. It has native trade-only keys, so the key truly cannot withdraw, along with low fees (0.015% maker, 0.045% taker), deep liquidity and instant settlement. Other exchanges are not available to connect yet.
Open the account
-
Open Hyperliquid and click Connect
Go to app.hyperliquid.xyz and click Connect in the top-right corner.
-
Log in with your email
Choose Log in with Email and type your address. You can use a wallet such as Rabby instead, but email is the simplest way to start.
-
Enter the code from your inbox
Hyperliquid sends a 6-digit code. The sender is privy.io.
-
Click Deposit
It opens the window with your personal address.
-
Copy your address
The window titled "Deposit USDC from Arbitrum" shows an address starting with 0x. This is also your Hyperliquid account address, so keep it. You will need it when you connect Tarvis.
-
Send USDC from your exchange
On the exchange that holds your USDC, choose Withdraw, paste the address, set the network to Arbitrum One, enter the amount and confirm.
Exchange notes
| Exchange | Where to withdraw from | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Binance | Wallet → Assets → Withdraw | Choose Arbitrum One, not the bridged USDC.e option. A new address can hold for 24 to 48 hours. |
| Bybit | Funding Account → Withdraw | Withdrawals leave from Funding, not the trading account. A new address is locked for 24 hours. |
| MEXC | Wallets → Withdraw | Identity verification is required. Avoid "Arbitrum One (Bridged)". |
None of these need a memo or tag on Arbitrum. Leave that field blank.
What next
When the money shows on Hyperliquid, connect the account to Tarvis.
