Performance
Your results, in three views. The summary for the big picture, the journal for days and trades, the reconciliation for every cent.
The summary shows your realized PnL, ROI, win rate, fees, equity and the equity curve, broken down by strategy and by account.
- Net realized PnL
- Closed trades after fees.
- ROI
- Account PnL, with funding and open positions, over the most you ever deposited. A withdrawal does not shrink it.
- Win rate
- The share of trades closed in profit.
- Fees
- Exchange fees, already taken out of net PnL. Funding is not; the reconciliation adds it.
Choose a period of 30 days, 90 days, 1 year or all time.
Journal
The journal is your trading diary. A calendar shows each day's result by day, week, month, quarter or year, over your whole history. Click a day or a week to open its trades.
It also shows profit factor, average win and loss, winning share by trades and by days, and the trades broken down in one panel with tabs.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation compares every part of your result with what the exchange's own equity did: realized PnL, commission, funding and transfers. Anything left over shows as unexplained.
Use it when you want to know exactly where your balance change came from. If a figure could not be read, Tarvis shows nothing rather than a zero, because a zero there would read as "it cost nothing".
How to read your results
- Give it time. A week says little. Day trading needs months, and swing trading needs a year or more.
- Compare drawdowns, not just returns. A fall deeper than the recorded one is worth a look; a flat month is not.
- Remember that live differs. Fills, fees and funding are real on a live account, so results can differ from a backtest.
