The idea
Outside a bull market, many alt rallies run out of buyers and fade. Hagfish looks for coins that have run far and show signs of tiring, then shorts them. When alts as a group are in a bull market, it stands aside, because shorting then is a fight against the whole market.

Backtested and hypothetical, not achieved with real capital. Past results do not promise future ones.
Because it only shorts, it often earns when longs are losing, and that is its role inside the Day Trading wallet.
When it does well and badly
- Weak or falling alt markets
- Coins fading after a sharp run
- Strong alt seasons, when it mostly waits
- Coins that keep squeezing upward
In your dashboard
Quiet stretches are normal: when alts are in a bull market, Hagfish opens little or nothing. Short positions open and close without a time limit, so a trade can last days.
